DIGITEK-IIIWP is developed for special application on irrigation water pump.  An irrigation water pump needs over high voltage and over low voltage protection.  In application on machines, a motor will be stopped when the voltage is too high but the motor is not allowed to be restarted automatically after the voltage is returned to normal.  Before a machine is started, it should always be inspected to make sure that the machine is ready to be started.  Furthermore, when the voltage is already too low, the voltage should not be further reduced for energy saving purpose in order to avoid any malfunction because the voltage is too low.  For an irrigation water pump, the motor should be stopped when the voltage is too high and too low.  The motor should be automatically restarted when the voltage is returned to the normal range.  In order to protect the water pump valve the motor should be stopped softly.  Moreover, a motor should not be started too soon after the motor is stopped either due to over voltage, over low voltage, or out of power.  It is therefore required to have a limitation on how often the motor can be started.  We have incorporated all of these features into DIGITEK-IIIWP to meet the need of a motor for irrigation water pump.

  ◎Low voltage protection: When the input voltage is equal or below the low voltage

     specified above, the output voltage is the same as the input voltage and there is no

     saving.

   ◎High voltage protection:When the input voltage is equal to or higher than the high  

      voltage for 30 seconds, DIGITEK-IIIWP stops the output and stops the motor. 

      Similarly, when the input voltage is equal to or lower than the low voltage for 30

      seconds, DIGITEK-IIIWP stops the output and stops the motor.  The motor will be

      restarted automatically when the voltage is returned to normal range.  There is a delay

      start time to make sure that the motor will not be restarted too soon.  The delay start

      time can be adjusted to meet the actual requirement
